MFS 2013

The Spanish Microscopy Society (SME) offers scholarships for SME member students (or those becoming new SME members before registration to MFS2013). Scholarships will cover the registration fee for the students (150 €).

In order to apply for the Scholarship you must follow the instructions below:

REQUIREMENTS:

- The applicants should be members of the SME before they submit the application form.

PROCEDURE:

- The SME Scholarship application form will be sent to the SME Secretariat before July 15th, including a copy of the registration as attachment. SME Secretariat: Dr. Mikel Valle (e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

- Once the decision will be taken, the SME secretariat will notify the concession or rejection to the applicants. The SME will pay the corresponding fee directly to the Congress Organization, and they will reimburse the fee to the granted students on-site.

- Before October 20th the granted students should send to the SME Secretariat a copy of the MFS2013 Assistance Certificate.

The Portuguese Society for Microscopy (SPMicros) offers scholarships for selected Portuguese student participants. Scholarships will cover the registration fee for the students (150 €) and an additional support (100 €) for travel and living expenses.

The Congress registration of all Portuguese participants not yet affiliated, includes membership of SPMicros.

In order to apply for the Scholarship you must follow the instructions below:

PROCEDURE:

- Send the SPMicros Scholarship application form to the SPMicros membership mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. If your pdf viewer is unable to save the completed form, please use the latest Acrobat Reader software. Otherwise print the form (ex. to the disk in pdf format).

- Send an e-mail (to the same This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or a letter to the SPMicros official address (check information in http://www.spmicros.pt) with a confirmation statement from your supervisor, validating the justification and certifying that the applicant does not have institutional support for this participation. Please include full identification, e-mail and phone contacts of the supervisor.

- Once the decision is taken, SPMicros will notify the applicant about the acceptance of rejection of required support, before the deadline for early registration.

- The applicant should then register and travel to the Congress, where he will be refunded.
